Warranty Coverage

  • All parts sold by Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS are covered by an exclusive parts warranty, unless otherwise specified.
  • We offer a parts and labor warranty that covers labor costs up to 700 EUR for installation. In the event that a part fails immediately after installation, this warranty will resolve the issue.
  • Mechanical parts worn for personal vehicles are covered for twelve (12) months or 50,000 km, whichever comes first, unless an extended warranty is specified.
  • Mechanical parts worn for commercial/business vehicles are covered for twelve (12) months or 50,000 km.
  • All engines supplied by Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS are equipped as discussed with the sales agent.
  • The warranty for transmissions, gearboxes and differentials does not cover broken gears or burnt clutches.
  • We only sell complete engines or complete engine blocks. Images may not accurately represent the actual part unless otherwise specified on the invoice.

Warranty Exclusions

  • The warranty is void if parts are dismantled, altered, tampered, misused, abused, or incorrectly installed. Items returned or claimed under warranty must be complete and in their original condition (excluding packaging).

Claim Process

  • Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS will provide the necessary replacement part free of charge for any authorized claims and reserves the right to supply such parts. Labor charges will not be covered unless prior arrangements have been made with Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS.
  • We are not responsible for consequential losses including car hire, accommodation, damage, loss of income, additional parts, or fluids due to part failure or delays in part delivery.
  • Warranty is non-transferable.

Returns and Refunds

Usually, the agent who will take the order will thoroughly check whether the engine or part is the correct one, in which case Società Auto Ricambi SRLS will fully bear the return of the part without further comment.

However, there are cases where the customer expressly requests parts without taking into account the opinion of the sales agent and therefore the terms below apply.

Goods returned within seven (14) days because they were ordered incorrectly or are no longer needed will incur a 20% restocking fee. Goods returned after 14 days are not eligible for a refund.

Delivery costs will not be refunded. If your item was purchased with free/included delivery, the delivery costs borne by Società Ricambi Auto will be deducted from the refund.

We cannot accept returns for specially ordered parts or cut body sections.

Deposits and Collection

No cash deposit is required for mechanical parts. Parts can be stored for a maximum of two (2) days, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Personal collection of the part from our warehouse by you must be made within a maximum of two (2) days from the date of establishment. Please note that you must make an appointment one day before arrival, no more, no less, no deposit or advance will be retained for it. After this period, storage fees of EUR 100 per item per day may apply. After 7 days, the part or vehicle will be considered unclaimed and Società Ricambi Auto SRLS may initiate proceedings under the Unclaimed Goods Act, in accordance with European legislation.

Freight and Insurance

We deliver throughout Europe in large quantities only with DHL. In Italy, delivery costs amount to €50-100. In Germany and Austria, delivery costs amount to €200. In Switzerland, delivery costs are around €150, depending on the region, plus €50 for customs documents. France, Belgium, the Netherlands and all other countries will have delivery costs provided upon request with prices ranging from €200-250. Please note that there is no fixed delivery price! We do offer shipment tracking provided by DHL, at same costs

Invoice Requirement

  • Returned parts must be accompanied by an official invoice.

Payment

  • Pay the invoice amount in full. Until full payment is received, the items remain the property of Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS.

Part/Vehicle Collection

  • Collect your part or vehicle within two weeks of notification. Failure to do so may result in storage charges or uncollected goods proceedings.

Part Specifications

  • Verify the correct manufacture date, make, model, and body shape before ordering. Provide this information to ensure correct parts are supplied.

Body Panels

  • Inspect body panels yourself. You are purchasing these parts as is, relying on your judgment. Exchanges will only be considered if an incorrect part has been sold.

Maintenance Requirements

Use the correct oils and lubricants and maintain the correct levels. Engine oil changes are performed every 15,000 km to maintain your warranty. The engine warranty is 12 months from sale or 50,000 km, whichever comes first.

Engine Installation

In the case of complete engines, it is necessary to replace the engine oil and all necessary filters in order not to risk losing the warranty. In the case of engines without attachments, it is necessary to demonstrate that your components were in perfect condition.

To Protect Your Warranty Qualified Installation

  • Ensure that your purchase is fitted by a qualified, licensed tradesperson.

Component Replacement

In the case of complete engines, it is necessary to replace the engine oil and all necessary filters in order not to risk losing the warranty. In the case of engines without attachments, it is necessary to demonstrate that your components were in perfect condition.

Non-Covered Accessories

  • Accessories not fitted by Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS, such as manifolds, flywheels, clutch, carburetors, fuel pumps, water pumps, turbochargers, alternators, diesel injection pumps, and injectors, are supplied for convenience only and are not covered by our warranty.

Transmission Fitment

  • Reset or program transmission computers if required. Provide an invoice for the work, including machine/software details upon request.
  • Ensure all cooling lines and oil coolers are flushed and cleaned prior to filling with oil. Replace seals as they are considered perishable items and are not covered under warranty.

Claim under Warranty Immediate Reporting

  • Cease operation and report any preliminary signs of malfunction to Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS. Failure to do so may result in further damage and void any warranty entitlement.

Notification

  • Notify us of your issue immediately.

Return for Inspection

  • If requested, return the part to Societa Ricambi Auto SRLS.

Freight Costs

  • Freight costs must be prepaid by you unless prior arrangements have been made.
